Water Wall

The Traffix Water Wall is NCHRP 350 approved to serve as the following:

TL-1 Longitudinal Barrier – HSA-10/B-130,
TL-2 Longitudinal Barricade – HSA-10/WZ-224,
TL-3 Barricade – HSA-10/WZ-224.

In other words, the FHWA required that this product successfully pass tests of an 820-kg car impacting a barrier at 20 degrees, and a 2,000-kg pickup truck impacting a barrier at 25 degrees, all at speeds of 50 km/h, 70 km/h, and 100 km/h, respectively.

Details/Applications:

The product is designed to be interlinked together. This process is achieved by lining up the male and female ends of the water wall and sliding a T-pin into the holes that are aligned. Once this process has been completed for the entire run on water wall, each individual wall is filled. Finally, once this is achieved the wall cannot be moved by a person. However, if the walls need to be moved (while still full & NOT CONNECTED), the water wall is equipped with forklift through holes for ease of movement. We do not recommend this due to the high risk of damaging a wall while full of water.

This product can be used in a variety of applications. First and foremost the water wall serves as a great way to control crowds in any setting. For example, marathons, music festivals, concerts, and any number of scenarios that crowds need be directed. As stated earlier, once the water wall is linked together and full of water it cannot be moved by a person.

Another option that the water wall could be used for is any kind of construction site. The key part about construction sites is that there are safety hazards to the public and they must be prevented from entering the site. The water wall serves as a perfect barrier on construction sites to both cars (in the appropriate setting) and people. The Perfect Perimeter is a unique option for both applications of the water wall.
